Don’t get me wrong, there are many league boys out there that are Fit as Fuck, but it doesn’t mean all  young women and girls who attend matches are asking for blow-jobs or dress scantily/expose themselves to certain players for attention - Firstly, it’s disgusting and not only is it disrespectful to themselves as ‘women’ it’s disrespectful to our gender and secondly, it’s stuff that would get you in trouble…

But as a Lady of League, what are we supposed to do if we interact with players? do we just have to sit there and do nothing? or just deal with the hateful stares the elderly/other supporters give us? seriously, fuck that shit - I’m sure you’d want photos and autographs too, so all you haters out there - death stare all you want, the thing is, you know very little about us, let alone know anything about us, so here’s a quick run-down:

Some of us have partners (Boyfriends, Girlfriends, Fiancees or Husbands), or are single, whether we want to be or not, We can be Gay, Straight, Bi-Curious, Bi-Sexual and any colour of the Rainbow,regardless of what we are - we demand respect in this sport - so if you have nothing nice to say, or have a ‘staring’ problem, I suggest you either keep it to yourself and/or turn the other way…

This may come across as vain, but here’s my story - In nearly a month’s time, I’ll be 26, and therefore, fit into the category of ‘young adult’ (even though I feel very much over the hill) Straight as a line and single by choice - now I know what some of you are thinking…

but honestly, I don’t care, as long as you don’t think that myself, along with every other ladies in league are WAG Wannabes. NO…

Many of you would know such notable WAG Wannabes like Kim Duthie in the AFL, or Charmyne Palavi in the NRL - who have claimed to have sexual liaisons with certain players according to various pieces of media.  If we paid more attention to them, we are extending their 15 seconds of fame - “Fame” they truly do not deserve when real issues like Bad politics, natural disasters and Refugees/boat people in detention centres should be our main focus - not them.  Palavi, who resides in my city of Brisbane should know better for somebody her age, but then again, this is the same woman who claimed to have slept with former Leeds Rhino, Keith Senior - the lack of morality of these ladies is enough to make Lawrence Kohlberg cry…

Last, but not least, most of us Ladies in league know we’ll never date or marry a footballer (or if we do, count yourselves as lucky - and most importantly, love him for who he is, not what he does! :)) let us, the ‘fairer’ sex enjoy our footy and have our school-girl crushes on Cooper Cronk, the Burgess Brothers,  heck, the Cheer-girls if that tickles your fancy! the most important thing out of it all is - conduct yourself in a respectable way, you know you are doing justice to yourselves by doing so, and learn from those who don’t stand as good role-models - they’ll teach you on what not to do and be like <3
